Hi, I’m Renata.
I've always been fascinated by how much design influences our everyday lives, often in ways we don't even notice. From the brands we connect with to the information we consume, design plays a powerful role in shaping our experiences and perceptions.
My journey into design began many moons ago, but it hasn't always been a straight path. After years of travelling the world, working seasonal jobs, meeting incredible people, and experiencing life's highs and lows, I eventually found my way back to creativity.
Today, I use graphic design to translate complex ideas into meaningful and accessible experiences. I believe good design should do more than look good. It should inform, inspire, and create positive change.
Outside of design, you'll probably find me browsing op shops, coffee-hopping around Melbourne, or planning my next tropical getaway.

→ Design was my first love. I started studying it in Brazil, took a gap year (that somehow turned into 20 years), and later graduated in Melbourne.
A roll at a time.
Much like design, photography influences the way I see and experience the world. I've always enjoyed capturing moments while travelling, and completing a minor in Photomedia as part of my design degree gave me the opportunity to further explore visual storytelling through photojournalism, photobooks, editorial and commercial photography. It was also during this time that I developed a love for film, and a slower, more intentional approach to image-making.
Design that makes a difference.
I'm drawn to projects that connect people, tell meaningful stories, and contribute to positive change. If that sounds like your kind of project, I'd love to hear from you. And if you'd just like to say hi, that's welcome too.
